New commercial building projects of either tender or design/construct types account for two thirds of Climat Commercial’s work. Projects range anywhere from a $50k contract for a retirement village extension to $1m contract for a multistorey building in the CBD.
Our operational philosophy is to identify design issues & resolve as early as possible. Planning, OH&S, procurement and labour are then front loaded in a well structured method. During the project a range of project management, quality and OH&S techniques are employed. This philosophy enables us to stay focused on the project goals whilst providing a quality, safe, efficient and where required, reactive service.
ENERGY EFFICIENT + OPERATIONAL FLEXIBILITY
Trinity College, Evanston
Design construct $1.3m, 103 head Daikin VRV air conditioning installation to two storey senior school and administration buildings. Provision of a solution minimising building ceiling heights whilst providing state of the art operational flexibility and energy efficiency.
DESIGN SUPPORT
Tivoli Hotel, CBD
Tender $380k, ducted air conditioning, ventilation and smoke control systems to existing heritage hotel and new 8 storey apartment complex. Significant revision of original designs to meet tenancy changes and financial, architectural and building constraints.
EARLY CO-ORDINATION CRUCIAL
New Port Quays Town Houses, Port Adelaide
Design construct $1.4m, 127 villas, ducted air conditioning to 2 and 3 storey luxury town houses. Close co-ordination with structural, plumbing and electrical contractors to obtain a cost effective solution within a very tight building envelope.
